In high school I asked a girl out. She laughed histerically, and asked me if I was kidding. I said I wasn't. She laughed harder. Then she told a bunch of people. They laughed. I don't get what was so funny. They seemed to, though. I know jokes aren't as funny when someone has to explain them, but I seem to be missing the punch line in this one. Could one of you explain why this was such a funny thing to them?
