I am a REAL baker especially at the holidays. Although this year I am having a really hard time getting into the mood, no one to bake for

I am going to make some things tonight. My traditions are as follows:
-ginger crisps
-peanut butter cookie with hershey kisses
-Italian pitzells
-M&M cookies
-Russian tea cookies
-polish nut rolls

-One year I made a chocolate peppermint cake, it was HUGE it was 3 layers with white icing, and a red velvet cake. I put shaved chocolate on top with crushed peppermints. This thing is a legend, my friends still talk about it!

I usually make a big meal on Christmas eve, turkey or roasts etc... then snacks for later on in the evening. Cheese, crackers, appetizers etc....

Then I would make a HUGE breakfast on Christmas morning.

I like to make wassial a spiced drink around the holidays. I also like to make brandy slushes...... I have been thinking of these alot lately.
