Actually Lenny was gonna play bass on the record, but then it got changed to The Tea Party. But they really couldn't stand Stapp, so Stapp brought in Goneblind.

My guess would be that Wind-Up kinda didn't like the Tea Party. Hence the change in Producers and back up band.
