geesh. i like at least a couple of songs from so many bands, so many that are part of the current (since about '96 or so, actually) alt-metal & post-grunge "movement." but here are the ones, old-school to modern, that I listen to most consistently:

Creed
AB
Led Zeppelin
The Who
Submersed
Edgewater
P.O.D.
Demon Hunter
The Mayfield Four

I also like some others (we'll call this my second tier) from time to time:
Staind
Blindside
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Rush
Chevelle
Dark New Day
Jars of Clay
Eric Clapton (including Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos, and solo)
Switchfoot
Sister Hazel
Tonic
