I'm into a Philly band called Octane. I would classify them as straight-ahead rock (two guitars, bass, drums, vocals) with some growling mixed in by the lead singer and one of the guitarists...Good stuff. I just saw them tonight with njcreedite and they kicked ass. Their local following is really growing. EVERYBODY in the place -I'd say about 600 people - was singing along. They're still unsigned, but you can get their debut CD from their Web site, I think...they also have very cool shirts and hoodies.
