suckertrain blues is a fantastic opener such a cool grove
do it for the kids ain't too bad at all but not as good as the opener
big machine is very punky and i like it!
illegal i-the weakest track so far
spectacle is very different and another punky track but not too bad, using that purple type voice
fall to pieces-wow this song is excellent a very good ballad, this is a song you just want to play over and over. i just hope radio doesn't overplay this one.
headspace-the intro to this is MAD but drops off a bit after that, very cool drumming from matt sorum here. weiland vocal styling of old around the purple era.
superhuman-cool bit of hard rock here, nothing totally special but very solid hard rock.
set me free-we've all this before but this song is seriously cool
you got no right-another ballad this is good bad at all but i prefer fall to pieces
slither-well we've all heard this one as well man the solo is fantastic
dirty little thing-another song that is bordering on punk in the beginning and some cool guitar work from slash.
loving the alien (sometimes)-VR are a hard rock band first and foremost but Contraband has some quality ballads and this is right up there with fall to pieces.

it was always going to be difficult to live up to the hype but they have delievered, i am happy with this effort no doubt. they will obviously be compared to audioslave but i have found Contraband more accessible on my listen compared to the first listen of Audioslave. Too early to tell obviously.....

This is a very good album but AB can pass it!

Nicely done handmedown! YEAH, what you said!
