Did Jesus die unwillingly, then? I seem to recall when He told Peter
that he could summon a host of angels at any given moment, but He
didn't. In fact, Jesus healed the ear of the man whom Peter be-eared
in Jesus' defence. I'd also like to recomend a book here. Try reading
Max Lucado's "He Chose You". Very good read.

Quote: Second of all, the martyrs died for God, they don't harm themselves. (D.C. Talk have a couple of good books on martyrs called Jesus Freaks I highly recommend).
I have skimmed the first Jesus Freak book, I'm aware of what you are
saying, but if you say

Quote: For a man to not masturbate can have very bad effects on his health and that is a proven fact, and the Bible says that we are not to harm our temples

Then you imply that we should not allow harm to come to our bodies.
This places the martyrs and Jesus Himself in a very bad position in your
logic. They suffered for Christ, and not masturbating can, if it is unhealthy,
be also a sacrifice. Therefore it seems that you are saying that one
sacrifice is good and another is not.

Quote: As for the false prophets remark, I agree, and I'm not saying that you guys are not right on this subject. If I make an offer of peace are you gonna call me the Antichrist, too?

I don't have any problem with agreeing to disagree, once I feel I've
adequately made my warning against what I see as obvious sin.
