i couldn't agree w/ you more, as long as you include on your list CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN.... you get the picture.... the media intentionally promotes all the sensational events (not much has changed since 1898), without paying much attention to what might really be newsworthy (i.e. positive stuff that isn't like "a woman rescued a cat from a tree today"). and Fox tries to counteract what is generally sensational (pro-liberal-oriented) by producing pro-conservative news shows that liberals, quite naturally, abhor.
