Uh, no X. If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. Can you imagine what it'd be like for criminals going into homes knowing the people who lived there didn't have a gun? That'd be awful! At least now, criminals are a little more hesitant because they know some people can and will defend themselves. And that is a good thing.

You can make guns illegal in Canada, if you want. Doesn't effect me. My forefathers gave me the right to protect myself through bearing arms, and that's something they can't take away from me. I don't own a gun, and don't plan on it, but if I ever need to to be safe, I can.
