I have always been short and have never been skinny. So when I got pregnant with Jenn, I put on 50 pounds. I could tell a difference in the way people looked at me late in my pregnancy. When I came back from my LOA at work, no one ever said anything to my face, but there was another girl who had gone out on pregnancy leave right before I came back and they said the most awful things about her weight gain after she left. So I always shy away from discussing those matters. I don't care what a person's size is, I would never look with disgust upon someone who is bigger. I have always had a weight problem and been sensitive about it. I know how painful it is to be overweight, and I would never want to cause someone else that sort of pain.
