Celebrating my 18th birthday
Earning admission with distinction into the University of Michigan-Flint
Earning a scholarship due to my grade point average and ACT score
Spending lots of time with family and friends
Getting a part-time job that I actually like(I'm a freelancer and have made close to $1,000 in just one month)

The Bad:
Not really much. A few people that I knew(who were friends of my mom's) died, which was pretty sad. Other than that, 2006 was a great year for me. I feel very blessed.

2007 has started out great, too. I just learned the other day that an essay I entered will be published in a book.
