Kiss O’ Spring

I have dreamt of green fields
Sunkissed by soft breezes of spring
wild flowers…in all shapes and sizes
Bend their heads as they dance to the gentle zephyr
With the enticing invisible smile…
A smile only the flowers could see
In the distance a human form appears
Moving with ease…
Stopping to admire each flower
Giving each a gentle tease…
He is the zephyr come to life
He is a handsome wanderer…
I ….a flower of gaiety and sweetness…
Would but make him smile…
Come what may…should he come my way…
I felt his magic….danced to his song…this zephyr
Became an invisible breeze once more…but he is never gone…
