Blame

Blame it on the Muslims
Blame it on the Jews
Blame it on anyone
To take the blame off you
Blame it on the black man
Illegal Aliens too
Lay the blame where you will
You haven’t got a clue

The world is like it is today
You closed your eyes
Gave it away
Ignored the warnings
Chose to play
Believing what you’re told

Life goes on so it appears
Yet plugs are pulled
We’re changing gears
We only have
Ourselves to fear
Uncaring…turning cold

We’ve played the game
The one called blame
Laid the fault
Can’t exclaim
We’re the victims…feel our pain
Call retribution in other’s names
