Creed's compilation cd
 

I was just at my local music store looking thru the list for up-coming cd's to pre-order and it showed a release date for Creed's compilation cd. According to Sam Goody music stores, it will be out 10-26-04. I pre-ordered my copy. :D

OMG! That's phreaking sweet! Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna have to go pre-order one now. Did it show you a picture of the cover or what songs would be on it? How many discs? etc.

That's almost 3 years to the day Weathered came out (10-20-01).

No, Higher Desire. Weathered came out on NOVEMBER 20, 2001, which would be 11/20/01.

No, sorry, all I saw was the name and the release date. It's just a list the store gets to let them know what the customers can pre-order. Next time I go there, I'll have her look it up and see if it's on her computer system yet and try to get more info such as a song list.

That would be great news if that's true. I checked the Sam Goody web-site but they only go through June with their pre-releases.

No, it said "Creed's Greatest Hits" which the woman said was a compilation cd. It didn't go into detail on the list but I'll find out more when I get back there.

I didn't see Submersed on the list but I'll check again. It didn't have all the new music coming out, just the ones available for pre-order. Not all cd's are available to pre-order.

that date doesn't sound far-fetched but i thought there would be "coming soon" on wind-ups site and maybe something on creed.com ( i know that is expecting a lot ;)). is there any chance you can go back there and see what songs are going to be on it?

I'll see what i can do. The list she showed me is a list the managers get to try and get people to pre-order things and commit to buying it at that store. They have things on the list for months in advance and they aren't all on the computer yet but I'll ask her and see if she can get a song list. :D

The significance is the date, which heretofore had been unknown. That would be my guess. I'm going to check at my Sam Goody's as well. Thanks for the info, farmgirl.
