I just heard it a few minutes ag o and it's awesome! I don't think there is a bad song from Staind.

This song rocks. I love it and normally never liked Staind because they always seemed so depressing. But this song is quite uplifting.

Is "So Far Away" the song they played on Pepsi Smash the other night? If so, it's about Aaron having more responsibility in his life and how his life has changed with his daughter's birth ("Zoe Jane", another of the 'uplifting' songs on 14 Shades is quite similar)... he said something like that on the show. Staind is amazing. Easily my second favorite band (2nd, of course, to Creed). Their music might be less uplifting, but you've gotta love the music (instruments) & Aaron's voice. They're amazing!

Mudshovel is a cool song, and I liked the first album OK, but I only bought the third one because of the tribute song to Layne Staley :D

I have one of their albums, but that's it. I didn't really get into any other songs of theirs. I bought the CD a long time ago for that song, "It's been awhile" and now I like this song, "So far away" a lot so I may get that one, too. I may have to give some of their other songs a listen.
