Soccer mom checking in here. I drive a 2001 Chevy Venture Minivan with the tv in the back to keep Damian and Satan from fighting. I also have a 1995 Saturn SL1 that has lay dormant in my driveway since my hubby left in August.

I drive a 1991 Chevrolet S-10 King-Cab Pickup.
This week I've been driving my dad's 1989 GMC Safari van.
A few days ago we got an 1988 Mazda 323. We got a sweet deal on it. We got it for the price the dealer actually purchased it for, without the markup.

can you explain to why people drive 4wd's when they don't venture into the bush? i guess you've got the kids there in the back (satan lol) so you need a bigger car. the amount of fuel that must guzzle........

It's got a 26 gallon tank, so it's been costing me $40+ to fill my tank. The first time I ever filled it up I almost passed out from the shock!!

26 gallons? i'm having a bit of trouble converting that into litres but i'm crystal clear in the thought that is massive. i've went from a car with a 2.7 litre engine to a 1.8 and it uses only 50% of the fuel which is fantastic.

corollas are very economical and reliable. perhaps they ain't very sexy or extremley fast off the line but its better to have minimal fuel bills.

Grr you all suck, I want a car. :crying: I don't even have my Learners licence. Meh, I will have to get it sometime though.

So, my favourite car. The car that I am going to one day get. In metallic blue with gold mags. The one and only, Twin Turbo Mitsubishi GTO. My baby:

my advice for your first car is to get something small and reliable cause cars can be preddy expensive. i just bought my car the other week and to register it alone was about $500. daylight robbery.......

hayley 12-24-2004 03:47 AM

Yeah that is expensive. I mean I would LOVE to get that car, but looking at reality I seriously doubt it. :p I haven't even gotten my licence yet, so I'm not even thinking about buying a car just yet lol
