Always Near

I see you in the sky at nite
Wonder where you are…
Your face awash with moonlight
Eyes sparkling…filled with stars

I feel your presence on the wind
Your warm breath and words
Carry me e’er so gently
On the wings of some cosmic bird

The scents of night time mingle
There’s something in the air
So close that I might touch it
Yet fear ‘twill disappear…

‘Tis then my heart whispers
“Faith will win this out…
Only by believing
Will reality come about…”

When all of nature’s spoken
I know you stand with me…
For even chaos has it’s order…
What should be…is what will be
