Heard FTR on the radio...
Here in Huntsville, it's a "Scott-Stapp-Free" weekend, and it's kicked off with Find the Real... Our radio station rules! LOL!
Just figured I'd share... -Z |
You know what? I was driving at lunch on Friday, and I caught it, too! Except, I live in Texas. It was so cool hearing the radio personality say, "And here's the brand new one from Alter Bridge, it's called "Find the Real...Creed who?"
Lol... that's great! Find the Real is definitely a good single because I think it really sets AB apart from Creed.
as do I... I think it was an excellent choice to do so, b/c while OYE was a great song, it was still alot like Creed. FTR is definitely not. I still haven't heard it yet, but i only listen to radio about an hour or so a week, during my drives to & from work. otherwise, it's my 9000 song media library on herre...
I cant wait till they play it here, i think 93.3 will play it alot, theyre really hard rock.
When I listen to the radio, I listen to Sirius satellite radio. FTR is getting heavy rotation on the modern rock station (They've played it 50 times since Nov. 19). I've heard it 7 or 8 times already on there.

In cali, the DJ said "I'm not gonna say who's in this band... just listen to the song and decide for yourselves!" - they hate Creed on that station.
that was posted by someone from abb.net that I forgot the name now! :o |
At least they played the song though... haha! They must have hated to hear FTR kicking their ass. I love it.

I don't listen to the radio much but i had heard the song on there when i do. Good stuff :o
Heard it for the first time last night on 93.3, bout jumped up and down, haha :D.
I'm just waiting to hear it on my local station(Banana 101.5) The stations around me played OYE a bit, but it never reached pop radio. I think FTR will get alot of airplay on the Rock stations.
