Kinda Scary!

I just heard on the news tonight that St Louis is about 100 miles away from a faultline that is being predicted to set off a major earthquake in the future. They aren't saying when it will happen, but they are saying that it will definitely happen. Thats kinda freaky and to close to me for my liking

Julie, I am sorry to hear that. I would be freaking out, too. It seems like any natural disaster nowaday's would scare the pants off of anybody.

I know Carrie! Right now hurricanes freak me out  I know I wasn't anywhere near the path of either one of them, but you never know when one will hit and continue north without breaking up,I know that may be far fetched but I think about it.

That is scary.

Although, my actual house is right on a fault line. :ghost:

My whole city has been built on a fault line. (DOH! Although, obviously not oh purpose, lol). And my house is right on the edge of one.

yeah, it's the New Madrid faultline, the last major earthquake was sometime in the 1800s i believe, and i think they've been waiting for the big one again for at least a couple of decades now, perhaps more... but it's only a matter of time before shit goes crazy
