Wish Me Luck...
I'm going in for my tattoo in about a half hour, we went in and I showed them my design and it's gonna be 200 bucks (i have 270), so atleast I'll still have some birthday money left. It was gonna be a 45 minute wait, so we decided to go home for a little while.
When i walked in the door and looked to my left there was a picture on the wall of Creed signed by Stapp, Tremonti, Flip, and Hestla, maybe i should steal it on my way out  |
Good luck with the tat Dan:dancing: Ya;) Definitely steal the pic on your way out:D
Good luck today with your tat! Let me know if it hurts, still waiting on some $$$$$ before I can get mine. As soon as you can post some pics!! ;)
Good luck on the tatt Dan! Lucky Duck!!:dancing: :dancing:
i'm back, it hurt a lot less than i thought it would, the arrow part that was near my inner arm probably hurt the most. the hard part wasn't dealing w/ the pain, it was trying to stay as still as possible. the guy that did mine was really cool, he did a great job, right down to the little stitches in Stapp's arrows, we had to position the stencil a few times to get it right, i can't wait to take off the bandage around 8
Good luck Dan! What are you getting?
Lets's get a picture of it in the Photo Gallery as soon as you can get a pic of it!!!
yeah i'll probably have a pic taken in the next few days, before the peeling period starts
Good luck, Dan. Be sure to post a pic! :)
So again tell me what you got! The same tattoo as Stapp on his arm?
yeah i took the links and arrows from Stapp's and added my own custom design at the center
Cool, can't wait to see it.
thats cool

Very cool, Dan!! So did you take the picture of the guys from the wall? I can't wait to see your tat.:D I'm happy to hear that you didn't find it painful. The guy that did mine was really cool too. Thanks for bringing back some great memories of when I got mine. |
no i didnt get a pic, it said "Human Clay Tour 2000" or something, so i was suprised to see Hestla
That's so awesome, I'm jealous. :D
I can't wait to see pictures, that's so exciting :dancing: I'm excited for you |
That's so cool Dan, I can't wait to see it!!!!!!!
well my tattoo was "weeping" fluid, so i must be allergic to the ointment i was using, so now i'm just gonna use a lotion to make sure it doesn't dry out
when using only a lotion you're more exposed to bacteria and infection, but as long as i keep washing it regularly with anti-bacterial soap i should be fine |
I used vaseline on mine and it worked fine.
Can't wait to see it...It's kinda funny I found this thread today..When I go home from work, I said to my daughter: "Let's go get tattoo's". We didn't, but I sure would like to get another one!! I just love them!!
Dan, congrats on the tat!!! Can't wait to see the pics. It sounds very cool. I used Lubriderm on mine and I had no problems. I was good about washing it, too.

Shit, I hope it will be okay....weeping fluid? |
how is the tattoo doing dan,im sure its looking great.
the guy that did my neibors tatt said to use a and d ointment to keep it moist. have you taken a picture of it yet. |

yeah my mom is going out to get some Lubriderm, the other lotion i was using was kinda old |
My husband has 13 tattoo's and ALWAYS used A&D ointment, smells like shit but works really good!
well Lubriderm has "lanolin" which is made from sheep's wool, so if you're allergic to wool, you're allergic to that, and i'm allergic to wool, so i'm just sticking with my other lotion

I used A&D ointment on mine and you're right, Jen, it worked really well for me too. |

Bummer, Dan...How is it doing today? |
it's doing fine now, it just sucks that i wasted money on this tattoo aftercare kit that i had a reaction to and that my mom wasted money on the lotion
