Due to the legalities of the Creed breakup, WAWOF has closed its doors and is in the process of relocating. :(

I don't see why that'd be effected by the breakup.

I agree with you.I know that WAWOF closed its doors on last tear, on april, but I tought that it was a Stapp's (sad) decision, because WAWOF was founded by Scott. So,why is this effected by the breakup?:confused:

But, I think Scott has the intention to re-open it, 'cause the message ends saying "that it is in process of relocating"... :)

With Arms Wide Open Foundation. Stapp opened it three or four years ago I think.

That is weird.. and I too don't see why the bands breakup would have to do anything with it? The foundation was set up too help kids, Maybe everyone who donated was solely Creed fans? I think thats sad tho' they could still put the message out there that just because the band broke up we are still dedicated to helping children?? :(

I believe I heard that it wasn't just Stapp that was involved with it, but rather all three guys.(Stapp, Tremonti and Philips) I think I was reading an old post(from 6 months ago) about it and it said that Tremonti and Philips were also quite involved with it. I'll go see if I can find that post.....

Correction:I found the post(http://www.creedfeed.com/community/s...ead.php?t=6965) and it seems Mark and Flip were ambassadors.

If they were ambassadors and Stapp founded WAWO, it only shows that the three guys were really involved with WAWOF. Awesome.
WAWO did a great job for the kids, but the end of Creed means the end of WAWOF too? It should goes on. :)

Yeah, around the time of the break up announcement. I don't think everyone knows about it, though.

As a matter of fact, yes...this did happen a while back. Seems from Ana4Stapp's question though, she was one of the MANY that didn't know.

the bottom line involving WAWOF, it did what it was supposed to do and helped a lot of people in the time it was around, and when it starts up again, i'm sure there will be some kind of press release that will inform the public to what is going on.
