Joy Division - DISORDER

Ive been waiting for a guide to come and take me by the hand,
Could these sensations make me feel the pleasures of a normal man?
These sensations barely interest me for another day,
Ive got the spirit, lose the feeling, take the shock away.

Its getting faster, moving faster now, its getting out of hand,
On the tenth floor, down the back stairs, its a no mans land,
Lights are flashing, cars are crashing, getting frequent now,
Ive got the spirit, lose the feeling, let it out somehow.

What means to you, what means to me, and we will meet again,
Im watching you, Im watching her, Ill take no pity from you friends,
Who is right, who can tell, and who gives a damn right now,
Until the spirit new sensation takes hold, then you know,
Until the spirit new sensation takes hold, then you know,
Until the spirit new sensation takes hold, then you know,
Ive got the spirit, but lose the feeling,
Ive got the spirit, but lose the feeling,
Feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling, feeling.

I was about 7 or 8 years old when they were around. I wish I had been old enough to appreciate their contribution to the music world when Ian Curtis was alive.

My favorite Joy Division track is Leaders of Men.

Here is another, "Walked In Line", Skins and their Shit! No self consciousness but hating jews in dark rows in all lines, while no germans would have been noticed by any killings!
In Dedication To
Ian Curtis

Then, "24 hours" and "The Eternal". He has chosen to reflect on death, of nothing, to end his life for nothing, leaving his family behind for nothing but wars in the history.
Watch videos on youtube.

Ian Curtis, best one singer, my friend, could be my cousin (died in 1982) as dead as well.

A romantic solo Moll-Version of "Love will tear us apart again".

However, fruits rooting from the heart by a spirit, and this one is the sense of it.

I've been meaning to see this for a couple of years now and I'm finally going to watch "Control" tonight. I just installed a new surround system so it should sound pretty amazing. Anyway I didn't want to watch this movie until I had the audio to do Joy Divsions music justice.

Personally I think that the poems of Ian Curtis should have been discussed in their inner meaning, in hermeneutic ways nowadays.

The ontological poems of Ian Curtis and his extravagant style to take them on stage was not punk, but lessons for punks and existential philosophists. He could have been as an honored professor of lyrics in philosophy!

Ah, however, this music is culture about thinking arts ever!
