Evenesence is actually pritty good
 

I always thought they blew ass, because i DLed 2 of there songs when Shanna made me like a year ago. And both songs i DLed blew. Plus that "Wake me up inside" shit has been overplayed like mad,

so anyways my DAD buys the evenesence CD (what the ****) So when im home from school i decide to listen to it.
and actually alot of songs (going under, Haunted) kicked ass. and i was like. "these songs are actually good", so I DLed them and i listen to them

It took me a really long time to become a big fan of Evanescence. I've had the cd since July and I hadn't listened all the way through until a few months ago.

I downloaded the songs to fit on my Mp3 player

I tried to like them, but Amy Lee's voice just grates on me...

Some of the songs are alright :)

yeah i thought their cd was pretty good, i dont really get around to listening to it too much though

last month my dad asked if he should get their cd for my mom, i'm like i've had it since last April, lol

blame it on Canada, Celine Dion and their ice hockey team, blame everything on Canada! LOL :)

I liked them first off cos of the old-metal overtones, and then more when I read the spiritual overtones in their lyrics. As a singer, I think her voice is really....I dunno, interesting I guess. She has a different placement. I can see what U mean Dogstar.

Yeah they are all right. I like Moody's style of playing but hes not with the band anymore, or at least not right now.

You gotta admit though...Amy has the best female voice in modern rock right now.

I only like their My Immortal song, that really really hits me, it's beautiful. But I'm not a fan of girl rock bands...well a chick singing in a rock band
