I’ve looked on the face of forever
When asked what did I see...
A face that holds such wonder
Staring back at me

Behind deep eyes was something
That just couldn’t hide
Tossed in a forgotten corner
Wrapped tightly up inside

A soul asked, please save me
Pleading without words
With tender heart so fragile
It’s beat’s barely heard

Afraid to let another close
Fearing they may find
The secrets that are hiding
That won’t be left behind

Unable to share the burden
Fearing thoughts of love
Hard to understand
What it is you’re so afraid of

Seeking what is wanted most
While holding it at bay
This charade called hide and seek
Is a dangerous game to play

The world knows only confidence
As well they should see
When living on the razor’s edge
Betw’en realities

Amazing piece but i loved these lines..Pleading without words with tender heart so fragile its beat is bearly heared..Afraid to let another close fearing they may the secrets they are hiding that wont be left behind ...Unable to share the burden fearing thoughts of Love Hard to Understand What your so Afraid... The World Only Knows Confindence as well they should see when living on the razor edge between Realties :rockon:
