Like a used book
Put on a shelf …
No second looks

Visions of your
Own mortality…
The coming of death
Upon quiet wings
Brings peaceful sleep...
To age-ed it sings

Behind old eyes
The message is lost
To the youth of today
At a terrible cost...
Such wisdom and truth
Could be shared by all
If only they heard
