Ok Beer Drinkers!!!

I am not sure of who all drinks beer on here, but I do, and I am always getting grief from the people at work for drinking domestic beers so my boss has put together a list of beers for me to try. He is like the Beer King and takes notes on all that he tries and he is a riot. I am going to share the list with you. He said they are in no particular order, but if you have tried them, let me know. BTW, the notes to the side are what he thinks so, just a heads up.

SOL (MEXICO)
LABATT BLUE (CANADA)
ROLLING ROCK (PENN.)
ROLLING ROCK LIGHT (PENN.)
CARTA BLANCA (MEXICO)
MOOSEHEAD (CANADA)
MOLSEN ICE (CANADA)
MOLSEN CANADIAN (CANADA)
PACIFICO (MEXICO)
FOSTERS ( AUSTRALIA)
DOS EQUIS ( MEXICO)
RED STRIPE ( JAMAICA)
SAM ADAMS LIGHT (US ) (ONLY DRINKABLE SAM ADAMS)
SAPPORO (JAPAN)
SHINER BOCK ( TEXAS)
SHINER BLONDE ( TEXAS)
TECATE (MEXICO)
BECKS LIGHT ( GERMANY)
KILLIANS RED (COLORADO)

hotforscott 08-06-2003 06:48 PM

LMAO, have you tried any of those Mullet?

Dogstar 08-06-2003 07:23 PM

LMFAO, Mullet!!! You crack me up...

Carrie, I have tried several. I love Killian's Red and Molson, but I'll warn you, Molson Ice knocks you on your a**! I drank it once and that was enough! Nasty hangover, too :D. Rolling Rock is OK, it's kind of a light flavor, not much to it. I like ales myself. I love Sam Adams, but I haven't tried the light. The only one of those I didn't like that much was the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Too fruity for my taste.
Foster's is really good and so is Dos Equis. I also like Corona extra gold (Mexico). Very good with lime in it...Ask the CreedFest ladies ;).

Thanks, Dogstar. I will keep that in mind.

facelessman 08-06-2003 08:59 PM

I've never had any of those beers. Wisconsin has some great beers though...

Leinie's Red from Wisconsin is really good!!!

New Glarus Spotted Cow from Wisconsin is also good, it's a bit lighter.

Dogstar 08-06-2003 11:01 PM

Steve's right about Leinie's Red. I tried that one last summer. Very good!

TeriB19 08-06-2003 11:06 PM

Corona all the way!! But I've had Dos Equis which wasn't bad and Fosters (Australian for Beer!) is pretty good as well. I've had Killians Red as well and that wasn't too bad.

I had a Corona a month ago or so and I thought it tasted weird. I prefer Leinies Red! :D or a good ole' MGD!

GoodGodGirl23 08-07-2003 12:14 AM

 Not much of a drinker, But Beer does suck to me, gives me bad heartburn, and tastes gross, I prefer *Rum and coke* when I take an occasional sip..

MGD and Coors Light are my favorites, but I get so much crap at work for the Coors Light. He calls it headache in a bottle. LOL. I will have to one day try the 2 you suggested. Thanks, guys.

As beer goes noone comes close to Germans. Well maybe Czecks.
There is beer with spade on it's logo (it's even called Spaden or something like that) in Safeway/Vons. $2 a bottle. And it's worth it and than some. Especially light one.

P.S. American mainstream beer sucks. Really really sucks. No idea how people can drink that. I heard there are some smaller breweries who brew good beer around here so there is still a chance. But stuff like Bud and Coors is bottled cow piss.
