emotions free
 

Happiness overcomes me.
I run from the smile.
Fear rushes through me.
I let no one read me.
Anger embraces me.
I quickly put the flames out.
Pain races in me.
I hide it behind the walls.
Though the fear hidden deep.
Still within me.
Afraid to smile.
Scared of letting fear get me.
Afraid to unlease the anger.
Scared to face the pain.
Still holding up the walls.
Built around my heart.
Where emotions play and secrets decay.
Wont let anyone come within these four walls.
Barries not meant to be broken.
But someone is still trying to get in.
Scared to escape from these walls.
Someone still chipping and making a hole.
The little girl inside goes in the corner,
Sheads the tears that never cease.
Then when the light peers through.
Happiness renewed.
The light is the way out.
Choosing to take a chance.
She reaches her hand out.
Someones soft warm hand holds on to hers
and sets her free.
The walls crumble all around her.
All emotions finally free.
She looks at her rescurer.
