Myles Kennedy #76 in the best rock singers of all time......

http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/page...vocalists.html

This list is created by a several people and they listen to all the stuff on the list. And based on what they think and people who post, they rate different topics. Myles is number 76th on this list, which i think he could make it to the top 50 but he just got put on it so there still reason to fight to put him higher.

Word.

RMadd 02-17-2005 12:49 PM

wow, that's awesome! esp. considering AB's been around for not even a year (i know myles has been around longer than that, but i doubt The Mayfield Four garnered him that much love or attention). all the other guys he's ahead of have been around fo' eva! he'll definitely keep climbing if AB sticks around for a few more years.

RMadd 02-17-2005 12:50 PM

oh... how often do they update this list?

The Lithium 02-17-2005 01:52 PM

Wow, that's SO cool!! They noticed Myles!

fluttergirl 02-17-2005 01:52 PM

Cornell is third, Mwah ha ha

Kennedy will get up there with Cornell being 3rd, no prob.

Dogstar 02-17-2005 01:56 PM

LOL, fluttergirl, you crack me up. That's not a bad list, but I would take some of the honorable mentions and swap some of them for those in the top 100 :D. It's cool that Myles made the list, though.

RMadd 02-17-2005 03:04 PM

i was gonna ask why stapp wasn't on there, but then i noticed the criteria ;)

Yeah, I was going to ask as well.:D

Awesome to see Myles on the list. Good to know people are noticing just how awesome of a vocalist he truly is.

scrit 02-17-2005 03:31 PM

Myles should be much higher, he is better than so many of those singers. I'm surprised they noticed him though.

Alter Shredder 02-17-2005 04:11 PM

ok myles wasnt on there up until recently...many of us had to fight for myles to get up there, and it appears we have gotten thru. Thats awesome!!!!....just post on their boards and talk him up

Agent D 02-17-2005 04:54 PM

It's a good collection of vocalists, I just don't like the ranking.

tremonti4life04 02-17-2005 06:02 PM

Now this is how a list should look! Maynard, Layne Staley, Myles Kennedy, Eddie Vedder, you cant beat that with a stick! Thanks for posting that Dek

scrit 02-17-2005 06:04 PM

i jsut added a comment as to why myles should be higher there...

Chase 02-17-2005 06:13 PM

On the greatest songs from the 90s list... "My Own Prison" is #125

aussiecreeder 02-17-2005 06:57 PM

to those that have voted kennedy and gnecco (two of the names in red) i wuv wu! LOL

DekWannaBFlea 02-17-2005 07:12 PM

I am "Concerned Citizen" on there and I helped get him on the list. The rankings are pretty good considering that there are so many different opinions on the best singers.

titan9 02-17-2005 08:36 PM

I was looking at their other lists, particularly the Greatest Guitarists list. How can they list a guy from Incubus and NOT Tremonti?

titan9 02-17-2005 08:43 PM

Oh, and I just checked some more pages, hoping to find any other rankings. With Arms Wide Open - Creed is number 241 on the Greatest Rock/Pop Ballads. I just want to say(and this is based on what I've looked at) that Creed(and their members) are grossly underrated on these lists.

DekWannaBFlea 02-17-2005 09:57 PM

Argue with em and maybe they will do it.

fluttergirl 02-18-2005 12:07 AM

yeah.....
i hate to say it
but Buckley should be a hell of a lot higher than that......

aussiecreeder 02-18-2005 03:49 AM

yeah buckley should be higher, can't think of a better singer in the past decade than one j.buckley. jango how long did it take you to do that?

cariocawlad 02-18-2005 06:31 AM

I agree with the number one: Mercury was really amazing...He is my fave vocallist of all the times too. The mas has an amazing voice and a incredible vocal range!

I like very much Chris Cornell too. Audioslave is one of my fave bands actually. So, I'm really happy to see him in third, but I think Myles would have a better position. He is far good than Eddie Vedder or Sebastian Skid Row.
