sometimes I wonder
what I did it all for
is it too late to change my choices
because I change
but everything stays the same

I'm not sure if I drunk poison water
I was so thristy for a change
and then I fall and fall
and the excuse is
I embrace the dark

but then I see you
and then I know
you fight for the tears
of those unheard
you chase away their fears

the sanctuary of those
who are given
those who never really had a chance
and then I know
we need this

we need this
to bleed out the pain
because we deny the stain
we deny the poison rain
we deny the chains
