How wealthy are you?

No I'm not asking for a loan but if you're offering.... ;)

Now I'm a full-time student with a part-time job and I would make the top 10% in the world. Makes me feel lucky I never have to go without food or water, I really should complain less lol.

Money sucks ass! I mean, come on now, everything is based on how much money you have in our society. Everything is overpriced and a ripoff these days, yet you need money to survive. I just think the way society labels us by how much money we have is lame!

well just be glad you were born in the united states and not the people's republic of congo or other such hideous place to live. there is no excuse for people living in a first world country like ours to go without the basics of life (food, water, shelter) and yet most on this globe do. i know it doesn't seem we're so lucky at times and things can be tough but count your blessings.

The thing I think is ridiculous is seeing all of the people playing sports getting paid millions and seeing and hearing about children/people dying of hunger everyday. I shows that some priorties are screwed up! Thats why I don't like sports!

Money sucks. That's why I don't have any.

Here's my results:
In the top 16.35% of the richest people in the world
There are 5,018,636,363 people poorer than me
About one hour's salary for me is $1.38
I am the 981,363,637th richest person in the world

Shocking: The world's 225 richest people now have a combined wealth of $1 trillion. That's equal to the combined annual income of the world's 2.5 billion poorest people

H-D :pimp:

Mulletman 03-16-2005 11:17 AM

I'm not rich, that only because grandma is still alive ;)

Trimontana 03-16-2005 11:26 AM

me :D
You are in the top 9.15% richest people in the world.
There are 5,450,919,117 people poorer than you.
How do you feel about that? A bit richer we hope. Please consider donating just a small amount to help some of the poorest people in the world. Many of their lives could be improved dramatically or even saved if you donate just one hour's salary (approx £10.41)

Oh, and in case you’re interested you are the 549,080,883 richest person in the world.

JulieCitySlicker 03-16-2005 12:08 PM

Haha Mullet :D

I'm not very rich, by American standards. Full time college student, part-time job at the Funeral Home...most of my money goes to music stuff, and this damn $1.99/gallon gasoline. Those Bitches!

Anna1011 03-16-2005 03:52 PM

1,237,363,637 richest person in the world, in top 20.62%

i dont earn much myself, at the moment but am looking for a better job, not many places will take me with my lip pierced though.

RMadd 03-16-2005 03:53 PM

i feel sick:
"You are in the top 14.33% richest people in the world. There are 5,139,611,901 people poorer than you.How do you feel about that? A bit richer we hope. Please consider donating just a small amount to help some of the poorest people in the world. Many of their lives could be improved dramatically or even saved if you donate just one hour's salary (approx $3.47)

Oh, and in case you’re interested you are the 860,388,099 </B>richest person in the world."
i made just under $5000 last year, and that was for working basically June thru December (I didn't work last year while at school, but did this year).
so i'm a f/t college student (taking a mere 15 hrs this semester), p/t Target team member, usually working 15-20 hours a week. i guess i spend most of my money on gas and trips to Wal-Mart for food & cleaning supplies... laundry, too. people who have buttloads of clothes, who have to buy completely new wardrobes every season, make me sick. that reminds me, last night on tv, i saw a Macy's commercial, and they had a slogan something to the effect of "if it's not new, it's not in style". how terribly blatant is that? i know i'm very fortunate to have been born & raised in the US, but sometimes capitalism just pisses me off.

Anna1011 03-16-2005 03:56 PM

it makes me feel awful knowing all the people worse off than me
