Just like old times! This is exactly how it was when the band was big several years ago.

This seems like a stupid decision on wind-ups part. No wonder ticket sales are doing badly and shows are being canceled.....people have not been given a reason to buy tickets. The reason? well the whole point of performing a concert is to promote the music and to make big cash. Older people have already seen the old music. The younger generation only hears the negative comments about creed and the older people haven't been given a reason to see them again. Solution? Release new friggin music Creed! A single release before the concert would not only promote the concert but give fans old and young alike a reason to go see them played live. Why the hell do I have to explain this to a record label? Jeez, Wind-Up sucks.

well the record label is a bunch of stuck up people who care more about money than music. but apparently they missed business 101 cuz i havent take it but im pretty sure one of the first rules is "if u wanna be rich by selling something, promote it as much as possible"

Haha yeah, really. This is why Alter Bridge was so happy to get away from them to another label. Wind-Up runs things very poorly.

So let me get this straight..Im am going to Creed September 25th with no new album to jam in the car on the way? only to hear the single on the radio?? WTF!! I have payed to see Creed play all their hits 4 times now, I WANT NEW MUSIC!! If this dude at Wind-Up is telling the truth, this tour is setting up to fail...Countdown to "Alter Bridge lll" has begun...

I just noticed that it says on Creed.com "New album out in Fall 2009." Don't know if that was there before.

Other bands have debuted new songs while touring but it's usually a surprise, not part of a big planned campaign lol.

Now their FB page says Fall 2009 too.

Hi Everyone -

I am a friend of both Mark and Mike T. and they have asked if I would assist in keeping you guys informed with the most accurate information available for what is upcoming for the guys with touring, as well as the album and single. I understand that you have a ton of questions that need answers. I will work diligently to be able to get those for you in a reasonable amount of time. I look forward to a great tour and wonderful album from these guys. I know they have been working their tails off in the studio trying to finish all of the album tracks. So please hang in there and as soon as I start receiving the info I will distribute it to you.
All the best,
LexMusic

I guess obviously the first thing we'd all like to know is a firm release date for the first single and the album. If Mark and Mike could shed some light on that, it'd be much appreciated.
