Hey All
Just wishing you all a safe and happy Thanksgiving Day.
I'll be heading North to Connecticut (just minutes away from Sheila's house) to my Mom's. Hopefully the traffic won't be too bad on Thursday am. Just a quickie trip to visit and then back in a few short weeks (gasp...must do Christmas shopping, write cards, decorate..etc.. :censored: ) for Christmas. Fun Fun Fun!
And to all our friends not from the USA...happy Nov. 27th anyways.
Hope it's a good day for all.

Linda

Happy Turkey day to you too! I have to work that day, but my parents are coming here to VA to see me, they are worried about me. :( I am looking forward to seeing them and eating some great food. I am taking them out Saturday night to an awesome seafood resturaunt. We are having our big meal Friday, can't wait! :D

JulieCitySlicker 11-25-2003 11:58 PM

My thanksgiving's gonna suck. I have nothing to be thankful for. I don't have the money to get home for our 2 days off (9 hour drive each way or $100 plane ticket), I have no girl, the campus is gonna be dead, all my friends who live around here are going somewhere else, my dog died, I have finals coming up, Creed may be breaking up... I'll be sitting around my dorm in my pajamas all day watching the James Bond movie marathon on Spike TV and the morning parades on TV. Maybe I'll scrape the money together to get a pizza for dinner.

Happy Turkey Day to all!! I hope everyone has an awsome T-Day! It is a day to be thankful for all our blessings!! :D I will be heading to the mountians to spend it with the in-laws, I'm not looking forward to seeing the burnt forest on the way up from the fires we had here in Cali! :(

whitebird 11-26-2003 11:40 AM

Marsly, I'm sad for you that you will have to see the land that you love damaged from the fires. But I know that you were very worried that your inlaws would lose their property in the fires. It's wonderful that the fire was stopped in time.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on the board who live in the U.S.A. To the board members who extend all over the world, peace.

P.S. I can't call it turkey day, I don't eat meat.

I wish everyone here a very Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you all have a chance to spend time with your loved ones. For all of you who are traveling, be safe. My family is getting together for dinner at my oldest sister's house. My oldest nephew will be home from college and I haven't seen him since he left in August so I can't wait to see him. When I count my blessings tomorrow, all of you will be on that list. I'm very thankful for all of your laughter, sharing and friendship.:hugs: :hugs:

Linda, I'll wave to you as you drive by, LOL!! :D

Thank You whitebird, yes we have a lot to be thankful for this year, all the prayers we believe made the rain come and stop the fire cold in it's tracks!! :D

I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving! Sheila, you said it best when you said you will be counting your blessings tomorrow and that we all would be on the list. Same here!

Happy Thanksgiving to all (and blessing for the birds)!! I will be heading to my parents 90 miles north of Sac with some surprise dishes. Participating in a charity Walk for the Hungry (sorry, can't yet do the 'Run') with some family tomorrow (a great excuse to get out of some of the prep work). And, I am looking forward to torturing the nephews and niece!
It's a clear, crisp day - the colors are vibrant, the leaves are falling and it's time to spend some time by the river, to remind me that there are blessings all around - here and now.
Peace and Joy to all you!
