Fabulous compilation. I don't really use a cd player anymore but playing in my winamp is a combination of Coldplay "X&Y", Mayfield Four "Second Skin", CCR "Chronicle 2", and Dark New Day "Twelve Year Silence". |

I'm watching the news. They are hyping the crap out of the snow. You'd think we were getting a blizzard instead of 3 inches or so. They've spent the whole half hour on this storm. It's WINTER (well almost, technically) and guess what? It SNOWS. Bah, I hate local news sometimes. |
Christmas songs:)

That reminds me, I need to dig out my Mannheim Steamroller and Transsiberian Orchestra albums. They're making a big deal about 3 inches of snow? Yeesh, where do you live? I'm used to driving through that and more still b/c I grew up Iowa and now I live in Colorado. I listen to both best of albums by U2 quite a bit. I also like the remixes of some of them that were included on a bonus cd with the 1990-2000 hits. |

Re: What's in your CD player right now?
Precious by Ours...Gnecco is an incredible singer, although, I must admit, he seems to be a bit of a slave to his Buckley influence...however, since they're aren't a lot of singers out there that could do that sort of thing, it's a refreshing change of pace...

A mix cd a friend gave, but mostly listening to the song 1000 yard stare by doubledrive. Had never heard of these guys, but I deffinitly need to check them out. The singer sounds a lot like stapp, and the music is very good.

yeah, but he has had that singing style since 1993 (as evidenced on the debut Still Rain album), a good four years before Stapp's first album MOP... and, speaking of Still Rain, I'm listening to Dark New Day live at Hilton Head 7/20/05 (bootleg)... |
