Just got out of what could of been a bad situation.
 

Ok! There is this lady that I work with,who I guess has just separated from her husband and is getting a divorce. Yesterday she supposedly was kicked out of where she was staying and her husband broke all of her things,tore up her birth certificate,and put all of her clothes in the bathtub and turned the water on,so she was trying to see if she could stay with me but I am right in the middle of trying to sell the house.

So after some thought, I decided that it wasn't a good idea to let her stay with me because 1. I didn't feel comfortable having her stay here because I barely know her,2. My sister said no more renters or anyone moving in,3. Her husband sounds like he is crazy,4. I like having my own space,lol. 5. I don't want anything stolen 6. I don't want to have to worry about having someone else here to try to get out once the house sells.

So,Ya! I think I made a good choice

I think you made a wise decision too. It's good to help those in need, but not at the risk of your safety. That dude sounds crazy. Then again, maybe she deserved it, you never know.J/K

It does sound as if you made the right choice, Julie. It's a tough thing, but if you're not comfortable and you don't really know her, you don't know what you could be getting yourself into.

only you can tell wether it was good decision or not.... ofcource, when we know more about someone, there are actually people who deserve to be helped but yes, not all, some may just take advantage of your generousity... this all is very conditional..... often the toughest decision is the correct one....

I'm not sure Donna, but atleast its out of my hands and not there for my worry on top of trying to get the house sold;)
