Nashville is where they wrote the new album and LA is where Howard Benson usually does all his projects...so that's probably why they decided to record there.

one of the big music capitals in the US. maybe it was just conveniant?

Why not? Nashville is a great place to be if you're a musician, besides LA it's the biggest place music business wise...a lot of bands/artists write & record there.

I don't know why I think we should of had an album release date by now, their tour kicks off in like 4 weeks..

It would sucked it they started their reunion tour without a new album.

Re: The Official Creed Press/TV Thread

I know its been tired out but, you can only wonder now if this album/tour was half ass put together by the record company in debt to wind-up. Myles clearly stated on his myspace it was somthing they "HAD" to do, and Alter Bridge will continue after Creed tour. Myles wouldnt have come out and said that if he knew Creed would continue after WIND-UP tour/album..Alter Bridge was writing for their 3rd album right when it was clearly stated that Stapp management called Mark/Alter Bridge managment to set up the "meeting" . To me this whole thing still doesnt make sense, but hey everyone looks at it like CREED is back!! Im excited to hear some new Creed stuff but everything seems like they are in a hurry so far...

Re: The Official Creed Press/TV Thread

I'm sort of glad they're taking their time actually...sure it would be nice to have a release date but if they need a few extra weeks to polish the album that's fine by me, I don't want a rushed Creed record.
As for Myles' comment, it still makes me wonder but I don't know why Mark would state that they would try to continue Creed after this new album/tour if they we're forced into this & "had to" do this reunion...it just makes no sense... I guess that means they're actually having fun again.

Re: The Official Creed Press/TV Thread

Perhaps Myles did not mean they were contractually obligated to do the album/tour. Maybe he just meant it'd be foolish to turn down all the money they were offered, like they "had" to take it.
