Olympics "In America"
 

I was watching the men's cycling in the Olympics yesterday, and they start talking about the American team. All of a sudden I hear Scott singing "In America" in the background and then it goes off playing the intro/outro stuff. I thought it was pretty cool to hear something from the My Own Prison album, especially, "In America." I've never heard that one before on TV.

Sorry, I'm an idiot. Ideally this should be under "The Music" forum, but it's kind of early so I'm brain dead this morning. :silly:

That's so cool. Quite often they play Creed during the Nascar pre-show. It goes to show you how big a band they really are (were :( )

that is obviously open to interpratation but i would say the things that should be pure such as children and religion are corrupted for the sake of the dollar and people's selfish desires. we have the unborn killed for convience and tv envangelists and the like corrupting something that should be a beautiful thing ie:christianality. america is an umbrella term for the west in general and is not limited to only the u.s of a.

That's really cool. I didn't hear it either though...I didn't watch the mens cycling but I have been watching the Olympics alot this year. :)
