Album of the Year (thus far...)
 

What would you pick for the album of the year from the albums that have already been released?

Oh yeah, I was kind of meaning ROCK album of the year but put whatever floats your boat.

I would have to go with Velvet Revolver's "Contraband." I love the return of the good guitar solos in which Slash and Tremonti will put forth this year. It just happened that Slash's album came out first. :D

Edgewater's "South of Sideways" is quite excellent... i bought it back when it came out in feb or march, and still listen to it regularly
also, GN'R's "Greatest Hits" is pretty awesome

Velvet Revolver so far but i've heard good things about Modest Mouse and Bad Religion. I'm confident that AB will be my album of the year! :)

OK, seriously, album of the Year, I would have to say goes straight to Velvet Revolver's "Contraband" It's very awesome, balls-rocking album.
