Wondering if anyone else plays drums in the creed community

yup.....ive been playing for a/b 3 years now.......snare drum for 6 years......how long have you been playing?

I know how to, I took several lessons, but I'm not any good. I know how to keep a beat, but thats about it.

I'm a guitarist though. ;)

I've been playing for a/b 2 almost 2 1/2. Can you play any songs?

I've been playing snare about 3yrs though

I'm finishing 8th grade in a couple months, and i started snare in 6th grade. I started drums in the summer after 6th grade

i'm still on the basic beats....well that's getting harder but more fun.

Thats cool. I play for my church every sunday. I play for my high school jazz band too. I'm still looking for a band who's looking for a drummer.

A couple years ago i played Jackal's "Down on me" for church with the words changed to a christian meaning.

Right now i'm working on Toxicity to play this year. We're still debating wether or not to put words in.

My drum teacher plays jazz drumming. The beats he does are fast and nifty, but not the rock that i wanna get into , hard smashing beats.

But we are getting there. Slowly.

I play some drums on occasion. Had more experience on hand drumming, tho. Like dumbek and bongos and other x-tras.

My hubby was a pro drummer for awhile and has been playing for proabably close to 30 years.
