Sort of Sonnet

Summer words dripping
Like honeysuckle.
Tiny seeds of
Love and Hope
Grow.
Buzzing, blending,
Counting the days
Of hot
Sticky sweet
Lovemaking
In lemonade springs
With poets who
Have all gone before
To create these paths
Covered with vines
So that the sun
Shines through just so.
Glow
Of night storms
Far enough away.
The slap of the waves and mosquitos.
Feast in the day.
Dance the night away.
