He just cracks me up! We dont reeeeeeally talk like that! Well not where I live! He uses all these outback colloquialisms that just make me totally crack up! They were laughing at his aussie lingo on letterman once, but I recon I was laughing more than they were! It's just insane! LOL

Hmmm... that makes me think: How do New-Zealand people talk?? :dunno: I mean with what kind of accent???

hayley 01-27-2004 11:53 PM

Very differently from most Australians :D

I can't explain our "accent" (heck, I don't find we have one, I mean I've only been brought up with NZ accents) But it's kind of straight forward, you know there's no rolling of toungs (so to speak) and whiny pitches in our tones, if you know what I mean? Our accent is very soft

Sincirr 01-28-2004 02:12 AM

You also have a few differences in pronunciation to aussies.

Instead of saying six, you sorta say sux and stuff.

Yeh, us Aussies normally have a very sharp accent. Its bloody awful! lol

Sincirr 01-28-2004 02:16 AM

I miss U Weatheredwoman and Creedsister! I have been knocked about by my sunburn, but I will be around soon. It's 6:20pm here now, time fer dinna!!!

hayley 01-28-2004 02:16 AM

He's from squirrel land, Canada, I'm going there one day to see the squirrels, and the pandas, and the snow, and the worlds biggest shopping mall, and that really high tower that's there. :D

WeatheredWoman 01-28-2004 06:18 PM

Oh man... from squirrel land! I like squirrels... those little tree-animals with that big plumtail? They also live here in Holland in the forrests... they're soooooooooooooo sweet :D

But I didn't know that Panda's live in Canada? I thought in China!
Grizzly's and other bears live in Canada... but Panda's? I do know that once a year Orca's (killerwhales) are gathering near the coast of ehh.. Vancouver I guess???? :dunno: Love to see that once in my life!

hayley 01-28-2004 06:22 PM

We get whales and dolphins swimming around here :D

Pandas, well X said he get's them there. And I've never seen squirrels, but X said he even gets them running around on his driveway, and he described them, I thought awww I love squirrels :D:D:D

Higher_Desire 01-28-2004 06:53 PM

That's a funky hair-do those things got! Ya know what squirrels make me think of? That funny commercial for Progressive Auto Insurance that has them 2 squirrels in it? You know the one, right? One runs across the road right in front of a car, the car swirves to miss it and gets in a wreck and the two little squirrels do a cool handshake think. It's funnier to see it than for me to explain it.

Awww they're sooo cute... and fluffy... especially their ears and tail! In real life you can see the red/brown color better! They have exact the same color as an Irish Setter (Dogbreed)

I know Kris... but lately I don't sleep very well. Going through some rough times, this helps me to get tired. But it'll work out in time... thnx for the concern...
