Prayers Needed

I just found out that my college President's wife passed away this morning. I posted something on here one week ago about how she had suffered a maissive stroke. While in the hospital in the intensive care unit, doctors found a major blood clot in her brain stem. Shortly thereafter, she slipped into a deep coma, with almost no brain activity. After a couple of days of no brain activity, the decision was made to remove her feeding tubes. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, 2 daughters, 2 grandsons, 1 brother, and 1 sister. She finally passed at about 2:00 this morning. She was 63 years old. Her funeral and a public memorial service will be held this Friday.

Please pray for her family, frinds, and everyone here at school who has been effected by this great loss. Jeannie touched a lot of lives over her life.

Her obituary is not online yet, but I may post it when it becomes available.

:(

As you said, she "touched alot of lives over her life". I have always believed, that when we truly touch anothers life, they then hold a small part of our spirit with themselves. Each one of is a pebble tossed into the pond. The ripples our lives create, will continue on forever.

You hold her within, and though you will all feel her loss, you will also continue to feel her strength.
