Here are some pics of the storm damage here

These are storm damage pics that occured south of us in this last batch of storms we had. There was an incident where a tree fell on a couples car right after they had just pulled in from going out, a guy in the car was killed :(

Holy cow Julie! I'm glad none of that hit your area and that you are ok!! :hugs:

Wow, that's awful, Julie. That weather came our way but it wasn't as severe, although today, some woman about an hour away from me was struck by lightning. She lived, but her heart stopped and they had to revive her. She was taking a break from work and went outside. I think they said she was only 20.

Glad you're okay Julie.

It always amazes me what the weather can do.

Leader of Men 06-01-2004 10:43 PM

JulieCitySlicker 06-01-2004 11:37 PM

indeed it was... sunday nite, i had to work, left early to beat the storms coming in.... no sooner had i parked my car than it started pouring. we got lucky here in SoCo (Southwest StL county, actually) on sunday b/c we pretty much squeezed in between two pretty big cells. it's sad when people die in storms, tho, like the man who had a tree fall on his suv while driving... one of his relatives said he was hurrying home to beat the storm.

Wow, almost needed to get some glasses to look at the pictures ;)

That sucks Julie, I feel sory for all the people that have lost their houses with the flooding and damage, those were shocking pictures. :( I'm so glad that you are okay, the weather can be scary at times.
