Yeah, I just saw it and I have to disagree with you. I thought it was a pretty good performance. Sure he didn't capture the angst of Stapp, but he did add a somewhat melodic touch to it. I just like the fact that he said "What If" was his favorite song. And screw Simon Cowell. |
Re: on american idol
I agree with Simon Cowell, Creed wouldnt be caught dead on there, its a pop show, theyre a rock band

Re: on american idol
was that the first Creed song performed on AI in all the seasons?
|
Re: on american idol
I loved it. It showed the people who hated Creed how good many of their songs are if you take Stapp out of the equation.

Re: on american idol
Alot of Live fans are really pissed at the guy....they say he copied Ed's singing style when he sang Cash's Walk the Line.

Re: on american idol
anybody have a vid of it? i'm not an AI fan, and I never watch it, but I'd be interested to see what it was like....

Re: on american idol
This is the first time I watched AI this season, a whole episode, and I was like, whoa that's creed. Rockin'. I like Chris, he's probably my fav to win, just cause he actually brings the rock. I don't think that was the best Creed song for him. I did however like the version of Walk the Line he did, and he shouldn't be catching any flak for it, cause AI is a freaking karaoke show. All they do is go out and sing other peoples songs. It's a joke.

Re: on american idol
i thought chris said that it was live's version the night he sang it? wouldn't it then be the judges fault for saying it was his version?
