Pistons: NBA champs!
 

Let me tell ya, this was an awesome series! I may not be a Pistons fan by birth (I actually have no particular NBA allegience, but whoever's against the Lakers), but it was awesome seeing 'em stick it to LA. Especially w/ the media making a big deal before the series about the Lakers possibly sweeping. If anything, the Pistons were close to sweeping (if not for a game 2 loss in overtime, thanks to a lucky shot by Kobe). The sports media always likes to make a huge deal about "defense wins championships," but it seems as though they forgot that old adage this year. The Pistons are the second coming of the Bad Boys (heck, they might even be better, defensively anyway). I mean, sure the Lakers have good D (who needs great D against the Pistons O?), but it's nothing compared to the Pistons immaculate defense. Simply amazing!

I watched the game last night too and it was good! I've never like the Lakers b/c they beat my SPURS :( Anyway it was awesome! Ben Wallace played awesome last night as well as Chauncy Billups (MVP) and Richard Hamilton. I'm happy for them, they deserved this championship because they worked so hard to get to that point. :)

I was really psyched when I turned on the TV and saw the Pistons celebrating. I hate the Lakers. They're kind of like the NY Yankees or the Dallas Coyboys. No one likes them except their loyal fans. Everyone else thinks they suck (or knows they suck. lol).
