Well, AB *is* Creed minus Stapp, like it or not. Their music may be different -- I'm looking specifically at their membership. Plus, when you also factor in the return of Marshal, I think that says a great deal about how there was/is a rift between Stapp and the rest of Creed.

That does hold some truth... but you're acting like Tremonti isn't allowed to say that anyone out there is better than Stapp. If he's found a better front man, why can't he say so?

I still find it cool that the rift between Marshall and the others was able to be mended...took a few years, but proves anything can happen. MAybe down the line that can happen with Stapp...time will tell on that one.

I never said he couldn't say so. Heck, I agree with him. I'm just trying to underscore how significant his words were. Seeing how Creed was not-too-long-ago the world's biggest band, I think this split is one of epic proportions.

I'm of the opinion that Marshal's rejoining after Stapp's leaving/dismissal was no coincidence. I think there was conflict between the two, and that's why Marshal either left or was fired.

Hmmm... well, going back to your first couple posts in this thread, it sounded like you were coming down on Mark for talking bad about Stapp in a veiled way... I guess we've had a bit of a misunderstanding here. Sorry!

your first post that started this made it seem like Mark couldn't dare say he thought someone was better than Stapp.

He never said he thought STapp was bad, but that he thought Myles was better. Stapp isn't the best out there. One of the top, sure...the best...not by a long shot.

Well a few years ago Marshall sued them ALL....so that's something that'd take a LONG time to heal.

i agree people are reading too much into the quotes from michael and now mark. do you think when they post they try to work out how to send smoked signals? or is it more likely they just say what is on their mind within limits? i go for the last one.....

bands always talk about other groups members and say that this guy at what he/she does. scott is a top singer and an even better frontman but myles is a better singer. that is a fact like the sun will rise in the morning and i'm really good looking! :D

Ok, now that I've read completely between the lines, and I think I've gotten everything I possibly could, I may have to go back and re-read it in case there are anymore hidden messages Mark's trying to relay to us.

Sorry for the sarcasm but does everyone always have to try to read more into things all the time? Next time, I'll diagram the sentences.
