it was one year ago today when rock star 'dimebag' darrell abbott was shot and killed by nathan gale at the alrosa villa nightclub in columbus ohio as damageplan was performing.

also killed that fateful night one year ago were audience members nathan bray (23) and erin haulk (29), and jeffery "mayhem" thompson (40), head of damageplan security. many others were injured including dime's brother, damageplan drummer vinnie paul.
