I have a young 29 yr old patient from Poland, I actually can speak Polish to him too!!!! People are looking at me like I am nuts..... they forget I am a little Polish girl by blood!:D

Yeah they patient looked at me and could not believe it, I guess it was a good thing I payed attention to old relatives! I can still remember waking up really early in the mornings at my grandma's house and I would climb into bed with her (I was about 6-7) and she would talk Polish to me and teach it to me, it was our secret. When I was about 10 I sat at the breakfast table and talked fluent Polish to my relatives, FREAKED them right out! I cherish those memories of them! ***smiles****

Awww, what great memories. That's very cool.

I would love to be able to speak another language. I took Spanish and French in high school/college but I can only remember certain words and phrases.

You're right, Siana, it's never to late to learn a language. Maybe I'll look into picking up a second language again. I really enjoyed it when I was in school.

All the lights in our house are now ten times brighter cuz I just had an eye exam today and they dialated my eyes:eek: I've got a new contasct lense coming this weekend though:dancing:
