Madness reigned throughout the land
An angel lost his wings
Feathers plucked out one by one
Brought down by arrows and slings

On deaf ears fell
What once was good
Was beat to hell

Out of the ashes of unspoken truths
Rising with integrity
The angel spreads his arms out wide
Appearing quite unworldly
