Thanks for your input. Having religion shoved down my throat first thing in the morning always makes me thirsty. Think I'll go have some coffee now.

hotforscott 08-10-2003 10:20 AM

I know what you mean, Teri. Even through all of the jibrish, I can still make out the bible pushing..........how come it can't all be a blur like the rest of the points in her posts??????

TeriB19 08-10-2003 10:22 AM

Not sure how she thinks her posts keep us entertained. Man this coffee is good.

hotforscott 08-10-2003 10:25 AM

I bet it is good. I need some. I think I will make some now. Mmmm Hmmm, gotta love that coffee!!!!!

LOL, well I hope you recover soon :D. And drink some water. All that caffeine dehydrates as well.

hotforscott 08-10-2003 01:40 PM

I know, I have been drinking some water today. 2 glasses so far, which is not to shabby considering I NEVER drink it.
I feel better, I went to the store today and I am about to go tan here in a few, other then that, I am not gonna do much today, just sit around. My boss' radio show is tonight from 10pm-1am so I will probably listen to that. Today is a day of rest. :D

Dogstar 08-10-2003 01:43 PM

Hehehehe, good for you! I hope you have a very restful day then! I have to work later, but at least it's my Friday, woooo-hoooo. I'm having some more tea right now. Trying to wake up :D.

Sheila63 08-10-2003 01:44 PM

Good for you, Carrie!! I'm drinking water too, I've had about 3 or 4 tall glasses already today. Now that I've finished balancing my checkbook and paying some bills, I'm going to relax for the rest of the day too.

hotforscott 08-10-2003 01:45 PM

Well, you are lucky that it is your weekend starting. I have to go back tomorrow, after a 3 day weekend, that is tough to do, but I work with all guys in my department and they are all 3 easy on the eyes, so that makes it a little less dreadful. ;)

Great minds think alike.

Dogstar 08-10-2003 01:47 PM

LMAO! I wish there were a couple of guys who would make my workdays better, ehehhehe. Everybody in my dept. is approaching retirement status, except for a couple of us...They all look like my dad --- white hair, LOL.

hotforscott 08-10-2003 01:51 PM

LMFAO, Retirement Status. You crack me up.

It is hard to go back to work after a long weekend, Carrie. I go back to work tomorrow in a different location. I spent the last year "on loan" to a different part of the company and I'm going back to my old stomping grounds tomorrow. It's going to be soooo weird. You lucky woman, Carrie, do you want to switch jobs?!!;)

BTW, you're right, Carrie. Great minds do think alike.:D

hotforscott 08-10-2003 02:05 PM

Man, I bet that will be weird going back. It was hard for me to go back, too, after being in Texas for 3 months because so many people had come and gone. I will send Chad and John over to your job, but Craig has to stay with me, he is great and really funny. If he ever left Hasting's, I probably would, too. I don't think I could work under anyone else, he's a great boss.

Sheila63 08-10-2003 02:20 PM

Thanks, Carrie, that's sweet of you to share Chad and John with me, LOL!! It will be strange but I know quite a few people that are still there so that will help. The bosses and management where I've been working the last year were so laid back and cool that unless some of the bosses have changed from my old location, that's going to be the tough part to get adjusted to. Who you work for can make all the difference in the world. You're very fortunate you have such a great boss.

hotforscott 08-10-2003 03:22 PM

I know, your boss makes a world of difference when it comes to your job. Aside from the 3 guys that I work with, there's one other guy in music who is really cool, his name is Todd and he is the music manager. There are tons that I don't like, but the 5 of us are a pretty close knit group and that makes work a blast.
Good luck on your first day back at the other place tomorrow. I hope they have eased up a little and aren't so strict.

Sheila63 08-10-2003 05:31 PM

Thanks, Carrie, I appreciate it. It will be interesting, for sure because although I'm going back to the same place, I've changed in the last year on a personal level so I'll see what happens.:)

BTW, I'm drinking more water. Surprised I'm not waterlogged by now, LOL!!

hotforscott 08-10-2003 06:05 PM

Let us know how it goes. I need to be drinking more water, I haven't had anymore, but I will now that you reminded me. :P

Sheila63 08-10-2003 06:29 PM

I will, Carrie. And you're welcome for the reminder, LOL!!

Dogstar 08-10-2003 07:13 PM

Sheila, best of luck tomorrow. And now that you are in that different personal place (much better, I'm guessing), you won't take any crap from them :D! You're right, though, a boss makes a huge difference in your job. I had one early in my working career that drove me and about 25 others out of the place. I was one of the last ones because I just wouldn't let that bastard get the best of me, LOL. Sometimes, though, it can work against you, LOL...I'm a stubborn girl :D.

hotforscott 08-10-2003 07:30 PM

I am drinking a Molson Ice, LOL! Only one though, I do have to work tomorrow. :D

Dogstar 08-10-2003 08:32 PM

You are brave, Carrie! :D

hotforscott 08-10-2003 08:35 PM

Probably too brave. I can only have one though, I don't want to scare off all of the cute boys at work...........then I'll never have a man on the side, huh? LMAO! :D

Thanks, Dogstar, I apprecite it.:D And yes, the different personal place is for the better, so you're right they better watch out, LOL!! I'm also a branded (tattooed) woman now and I can't wait to see and hear the reactions I'll get tomorrow.;) As for the boss situation, I can relate, I have some stubborness in me too, thanks to my parents.:P

Dogstar 08-10-2003 08:39 PM

Hehehehe, good for you, Sheila!!!

hotforscott 08-10-2003 08:43 PM

Yes, good for you, Sheila!

Sheila63 08-10-2003 08:47 PM

Thanks, guys!
