My Own Prison Blue Collar release

For those of you who still haven't got one look at this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I think it'll be real cheap, because the seller don't seem to know what a rarity he's selling. He hasn't advertised it as a Blue Collar album at all in the headline.

Every Blue Collar CD on eBay ends up going for a lot. Most of the bidders come out of the woodwork within the last few hours and bids jump up to $70-$80 minimum.

Yeah I know! I've bought two! But this one has a chance to be cheaper. If the words Blue Collar is left out of the headline, many potential buyers wont even look at it.

What... Why have you bought TWO?

If the price stays around where it is -- I will buy two!

Do the songs actually sound different than the Wind-Up release?....if so, could someone perhaps upload or send me one of the Blue Collar songs(any song would do)so I can get a listen to it. I've been dying to hear the Blue Collar versions

actually, the seller put this in there:

"Label: Blue Collar Records
Release Date: 06/24/1997
UPC: 638531506625"

and it'll go for more now cause you've told people about it ;) LOL

I bought one for myself, then a couple of months later I found one that I bought cheap for $62 and then sold expensive for about $115.:smokin:

Yes, but that's only in the description of the item. Most ebay-buyers only search the title of the item. And of course it will go for more now that I've told you;) but I still think there's a chance it'll be cheap, when those of you that are interested don't have to fight with all the buyers that normally would bid for this one, cause I think they'll miss it.

Yes, there is a slight difference on most of the songs, although a few(namely "One") sound quite a bit different(more of a raw sound). I believe all of the songs are slightly longer as well. The CD itself, imo, is better than the WU version, if only for the awesomeness that is "One". I love the sound of the Blue Collar version of that song.

I have maybe six of the ten Blue Collar tracks and could possibly send those to you. Just PM me with your email address and I'll try to send'em along tonight or tomorrow.

The most noticable differences are "One," "What's This Life For," and "Sister."

WTLF has a long extended intro with Tremonti playing guitar and in Sister, the chorus says

"Little girl, little girl
Now realize little girl
Overlooked little girl"

instead of the WU version which says

"Little sister, little sister
Now realize little sister
Overlooked little girl"

and One's solo section is different. i don't know how to describe it in musical, guitar terms, but it has a bit of a different feel than the WU version.

Yeah, I don't have the BC versions of WTLF and Sister, so I didn't even know about that. Thanks for pointing it out.

And, yeah, One's solo section is different. Also, toward the very end of the song, Flip has a bit of a drumming solo(not being a drummer myself, I am not sure if that is the correct way to describe it). The ending is pretty sweet because of this.

Re: My Own Prison Blue Collar release

there are small noticable differences...throughout the album too. the mix is different too...sounds rougher. i like it much better.
